True Damage Returns: League of Legends 2026 Worlds Theme Song 'Know My Name' Released

Riot Games has announced the return of the virtual band True Damage for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (CKTG). They have created the official theme song titled 'Know My Name', set to release globally on September 10. This marks the first time a Riot virtual artist group has produced the Worlds theme song, following artists like NewJeans, Linkin Park, and G.E.M. True Damage's 2026 hit 'GIANTS' has amassed over 230 million streams worldwide. The band consists of five champions: Akali, Senna, Ekko, Qiyana, and Yasuo. The vocalists include SOYEON of (G)I-DLE as Akali, Coco Jones as Senna, Vic Mensa as Ekko, and Sofía Reyes as Qiyana. Yasuo is presented as DJ/producer without a vocalist. The 2026 CKTG will be held in the United States, with Play-In starting October 15 in Los Angeles and the Finals on November 14 at Barclays Center, New York, where True Damage will perform live. The song's theme aligns with Worlds' message of global unity and self-discovery. This announcement highlights Riot's evolving music marketing strategy, but the song's success will depend on its quality and fan reception compared to the legacy of 'GIANTS'.
